Welcome! The Colorado Campus Recycling Network is the result of recent planning among campus recycling coordinators and state recycling agencies. This network facilitates information exchange between institutions of higher education in Colorado about resource and solid waste management. Numerous links have been assembled here to campus programs and off-campus resources. This site also contains a toolbox where schools can share operational, managerial, and promotional aspects of their programs. An e-mail bulletin board has also been created for ongoing dialogue.
Previous experience with other campus recycling networks around the country show that these networks also benefit off-campus efforts like local governments, businesses, and recycling organizations. Campuses can be important accounts for recycling equipment dealers, hauling services, and recycling companies. Campus programs are also potential new members for recycling organizations, task forces, and other volunteer assignments. Sponsorship opportunities exist to grow this network.
So, welcome to the college recycling network for Colorado. Get to know its many services for improved recycling on campus and around the state.
