In-Office
Trainings. CU Recycling staff can visit your office or
department to share the latest information on recycling
at CU and
assess how much your office
has helped the environment through your recycling and waste reduction
efforts.
Green
Products Guide. You are not recycling unless you are buying recycled products. CU has
compiled the Recycled Products Guide which contains information on
recycled options for a wide variety of products.
Special
Collections. If you are cleaning out files,
storerooms, etc. and have more recyclables than the current
recycling station can handle, please call 2-5321 to
arrange for special containers and collections.

Pallet
Recycling. Used wooden pallets are collected from the

Residence Halls
USE YOUR IN-ROOM RECYCLING CONTAINER!
Thanks
to RHA, the blue recycling container in your room
is there to make recycling easier.
- Use the blue bin to store and tote your recyclables. Commingled containers (bottles and cans) can be mixed with paper fibers
- You are responsible for taking your trash & recycling
to your hall’s designated areas.
- Cardboard boxes must be flattened and go into the specific dumpster for
cardboard. Since Cardboard takes up a lot of space and will fill up
the recycling bins, please flatten it and put it in the Cardboard
dumpster
- If you are missing your in room recycling bin go to http://fixit.colorado.edu. Housing Facilities will deliver you a new bin shortly.
